This season, focus on finding your natural essence. This skin-first beauty trend uses less product and lets your natural skin do all the work. Play up the summer heat with soft glow to highlight cheekbones, brow bones and cupids bow. Leave your matte setting power at home and don't forget the SPF!

For an effortless evening look, play up monochromatic hues for eyes and lips that are in the same color family as your skin tone. For fair skinned beauties, use a family of camel or rose tones. For tan or olive skinned babes, play with deep bronze and browns. For richer skin tones, use deep oxblood and rich chocolates for your palette. This look builds on the previous trend of natural glowing skin, making it an easy day to night transformation.

For special occasions, celebrations and the never-ending list of summer weddings you get to attend this summer, don't be afraid to play with color. From colorful manicures to pops of vibrant colors used unexpectedly on the lip or around the eyes will make you a front-running stunner at any event you attend. Don't be afraid to start small. If you're afraid of trying something new, adding subtle color to your daily beauty routine will make experimenting fun yet comfortable. My favorite colors for the season are bold blues, flirty pinks and a pop of sunshine yellow.
