go-to manicure // diy

This week's manicure is brought to you by effortless simplicity. as basic as painting your nails and adding topcoat, i can't quit this neutral statement, and i think you'll love it too.

Sure nude nails are a hit everywhere, but i've really enjoyed the matte finish polish that takes even the most basic look down a notch. i found the perfect shade of pink, and i call it perfect because i was in the nail polish isle for over an hour debating which would be the most neutral. i  went with the shade i liked best, not the brand or the trend color that works for "everyone." what may be neutral on one person could look like a can of spray tan orange exploded on my pasty white hands.

This is the first cousin of the white manicure, but in this case the result is chic, simple, yet refined. Polish used :

- Revlon 'Brilliant Strength' Enamel in Embody (200)
- Sally Hansen 'Big Matte Top Coat' (41055)
